Heineken re-sign ttMobiles contract, citing continued savings

Heineken UK has a mobile phone fleet of over 4,000 devices, which require considerable, ongoing management.  It has benefited from ttMobiles’ Wireless Expense Manager service for over five years, and has recently renewed its contract for a further two years.

Heineken’s Category Manager Business Services, Graeme McLuggage, states the value of the service is VAT compliance on personal phone calls, efficient fleet administration and cost avoidance and savings.

Heineken use Wireless Expense Manager for personal call recovery, with costs deducted directly from the payroll to create an automated, paperless internal recharge of mobile costs.  This gives employees the benefit of being able to use their business phones for personal calls, while giving Heineken a return on investment of 150%.

ttMobiles also manage unused devices, and identify where devices are still in use with employees who have left.  They identify where devices can move up or down mobile usage packages to save money, and check for incorrect network charges.   Inappropriate use of devices is also highlighted.    All these actions reduce costs and risks, and improve efficiency.

ttMobiles Marketing Director Peter Readman says “We are delighted that Heineken have re-signed with us.  This demonstrates the importance we place on maintaining long-term value relationships with our clients, and illustrates how our services can deliver efficiencies and savings year in and year out.”

“WEM enables us to manage our costs to the extent that the service is not only self-funding but also contributes revenue back to the spend line; simultaneously removing the internal burden of achieving this.” Graeme McLuggage, Heineken UK
